Italian producers Rudeejay and Da Brozz are no strangers to churning out top quality dance music together, having released previous collaborations on labels such as Spinnin’ and Musical Freedom as well as numerous mash-ups, and now they join forces for the latest pair-up on “HEY!“, as their knowledge of each other’s studio processes are evident from the get go on a track that is both cohesive and forward thinking, another example of Smash The House sister label Generation Smash’s commitment to pushing forward fresh talent.
The track is kickstarted by a tribal beat, which signals the intensity from the outset, glued together by a sidechained riser that builds throughout the intro. The sense of increasing action is further punctuated by a lead which rises in pitch towards the first breakdown, complemented by a gliding synth. The drop signifies the introduction of an anthemic stuttering lead, all built around the well-known chant which fans will be familiar with. The track is highlighted by an impressive amount of synth work, as an array of electronic elements swap in and out, portraying the main melody.
Generation Smash continue to push the boundaries, giving burgeoning talent the platform in which to shine and the opportunity to stake their claim in the dance music world. Having been supported by the likes of heavyweights such as Laidback Luke and VINAI, as Rudeejay and Da Brozz continue to turn heads and impress with their latest productions.
