Danny Howard

Presenter, speaker on BBC Radio 1 (Dance Anthems with Danny Howard), producer, trendsetter, influencer and all-round champion of English electronic music.

He attended the Edge Hill University, studying Physical Education and playing as a resident in some of the biggest clubs of England.

After university, he played at the Ministry of Sound in Egypt for 3 months, and in August 2011 Danny won the BBC Radio 1 Superstar DJ.
Thanks to this, he took part in ‘Radio 1’s Ibiza Weekend’ where he could play for the first time at the Ushuaïa on the island in front of 5000 people.

Then he produced a 12-episodes show with the highlights of Ibiza weekend, he led a show on Saturday on BBC Radio 1 and on April 2012 his first single called ‘Twenty Nine” was released by Spinnin’ Records.

His career continued between opening and closing parties, remixes of many tracks until January 2013 when he made his first video after the release called ‘Apex’ on ‘Spinnin’ Records’.

The track reached the Beatport Electro House Chart top ten and he signed an exclusive deal with Spinnin’ Records. His first album ‘Clubbers Guide 2013’ was released on the following February, reaching the first place on iTunes Dance Music Charts.

His rise keeps going with many releases on Spinnin’ Records till 2017, year in which his new EP ‘Extra Trippy’ was released by Toolroom.
